My Hope is Built On Nothing Less
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and forgiveness.
I now make love my highest aim, receive from God my truest name.
On Christ's foundation now I stand and work to build what God has planned,
and work to build what God has planned.
I now release my guilt and shame and share with you my truest name.
I now take up my Christian call and offer it to one and all.
On Christ's foundation now I stand. I'm not afraid of God's command.
I'm not afraid of God's command.
When I am lonely and brought low, would turn away, would turn to go,
Christ's friends reach out and draw m back, restore me when I feel attack.
In Christ I need not be alone, but take the love that I am shown,
but take the love that I am shown.
I thank God for the gift of life, even the chaos and the strife.
I take the work that's mine to do, to give away to each of you.
On Christ's foundation now I stand and work to build what God has planned,
and work to build what God has planned.
